About Us
Brought up in a family of dog lovers, I followed the same direction as my parents into showing and breeding dogs and, like them, became a judge during the 1980’s. By the time I was in my twenties, I had extended my ‘furry’ family to include cats and in particular Birmans…The Sacred Cat Of Burma.
In addition to having a large doggie family, my feline family continued to grow rapidly and as I had become smitten with cat showing, what could be more natural than setting my sights on a family pet care business. Consequently, I opened a five star luxury boarding establishment…a business I was proud to have created and one which afforded me the privilege and pleasure of winning the Prince’s Scottish Youth Business Trust Young Business Person Of The Year during the 1990’s.
The knowledge I had accumulated through breeding dogs, I applied to my cat breeding programme and as a result had the pleasure of enjoying many successful years in the show ring as well as winning many major, national accolades…my highest achievement was without doubt winning Overall Supreme Exhibit at The Supreme Cat Show in 2016 at The National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham… an achievement most breeders can only dream of!
The idea of Woof Woof Weddings was born when I was involved in the arrangements of a family member’s wedding in which she dearly wanted the attendance of her beloved Bertie on her special day. Unable to source this service, she sought my thirty years pet care experience in the hope that her dream could become a reality…it did, and overnight my idea was born.
